About us
One People. One Faith. One Community.
Mizo Society of America (MSA) is dedicated to fostering unity and support among the Mizo community across the U.S. Through our 12 branches in 11 states, we provide resources, cultural connection, and a strong platform for communication that preserves our heritage and empowers our members.
Who We Are
The Mizo Society of America (MSA) is a non-profit, non-political, and non-religious organization founded on October 19, 1985, to celebrate and preserve the culture and traditions of the Mizo people. Its mission is to maintain the Mizo way of life and share it with American society. The organization serves the Mizo diaspora, a population of over five thousand people of Mizo origin from North-East India, Myanmar (Burma) and Eastern Bangladesh who have settled across the United States.
What We Do
Connecting Mizos Across America — Culture & Community
MSA connects and supports Mizo communities across the United States through cultural, and social initiatives. We organize national and local events, preserve our Mizo language and traditions, and provide a network of care for individuals and families.
